Ian Reeve's experience includes The Cleveland Group of Companies,
incorporating Cleveland Bridge and Dorman Long Companies
Worldwide, where he was President and Chief Executive Officer.
Ian was founder and chairman of High-Point Rendel Group plc
and led the development of this multi-disciplinary group of
companies specialising in business, management and engineering
technology consultancy with a network of offices in Europe,
Africa, Middle East, USA, Indian Sub Continent and Asia Pacific.
Having developed High-Point internationally, Ian took the
business public on the London Stock Exchange in 1983 and then
led the acquisition of Rendel Palmer & Tritton in 1986 to form
High-Point Rendel Group plc.
Throughout his career, Ian has been a Director and Chairman
of many public, industrial and charitable organisations. For the
Confederation of British Industry (CBI), Ian was a Member and
then Chairman of London Regional Council, Representative of the
London Region on the National Council and on the President's
Committee.
Ian is a Companion of the Chartered Management Institute, a
Fellow of the Institution of Civil Engineering Surveyors and
Fellow of the Institute of Directors. He is a liveryman of the
Worshipful Company of Constructors and a Freeman of the City of
London.
He was made a Commander of the Most Excellent Order of the
British Empire (CBE) in 2003 for his service to business and
charity.
