Scott Young is a
Managing Director of Carlton Corporate Finance.
Scott had worked at Translink International Limited from 1992
until its acquisition by Carlton Corporate Finance in 2003.
Previously Scott had worked in the Paris office of Translink
which he joined in 1990.
Prior to joining Translink, Scott was with Morgan Stanley &
Company in New York in the International Capital Markets group.
Earlier he had worked with LF Rothschild in New York, and with
the US office of the OECD.
Scott received his Doctorate in Law and MBA degrees at the
University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.
Scott has extensive experience in originating and completing
international transactions, including advising Reuters Group PLC
in its acquisition of ORT in France, Hepworth PLC in its
disposal of Hepworth Air Filtration, Norsk Elektro in its sale
to AMEC PLC, Alucapvit (Italy) in its acquisition of Daniel
Montgomery Ltd, Esprit Group in establishing collaborations in
the UK retailing market and Codisa (Portugal) in its sale to
Electra Europe Partners.
After living in Paris and Rio de Janeiro, Scott is fluent in
French and Portuguese.
