Thomas joined Carlton Capital Partners' research department in August 2006 where he is involved in the quantitative and qualitative selection of hedge fund managers.

Prior to joining Carlton Thomas worked for Citigroup Capital Markets for three years in Fixed Income business management covering many aspects of the business including sales and trading analysis, client management and strategy analysis. Prior to this Thomas spent two internships working in Citigroup's Equity department and a year working as a market analyst for National Grid Transco PLC.

Thomas received a BSc (Hons) in Economics from University College London.
